Yes John Chow is not your average blogger. I believe I can make $1,300 quiet easy but not with this blog. So I guess as part of this experiment I will be testing this blog "potential" if you wish.
Thanks for stopping by.
Several time you mention that you don't believe that your kind of blog can achieve it, let me ask you what do you think is the kind of blog that can achieve it then?
Personally I am writing about personal development and other stuffs and I also intend to make some money online... Though for the moment, I am primarily focused on writing content.
Curious to know more!
Unfortunately the most of the reviews/opportunities available on either of three networks in connection to affiliate marketing or making money online have to do with "get rich quick" schemes. It would be ok if they would ask for a neutral review, many ask for "positive only".
I think in your niche you may have a better chance to find something of substance to write about.
Tech-bloggers can find some good opportunities, I have come across some good opportunities in real estate. I guess anything other than "making money online" would do well.
Anyway, I think I have written that $1300 is may be a bit unrealistic for this blog. But if I do not try I will never find out.
Yes, in April 2007 I made something like $1304 from PayPerPost. At that time I was managing eight blogs and posting ads regularly to seven of them. My main blog I kept relatively ad free, choosing only to go with the occasional high paying ad once in awhile.
Since that time I sold off two blogs and closed down four other blogs so I am left with only two blogs, both occupying the same URL. PPP has changed a lot since that time in that the quality of ads seems to have dropped. So, I doubt that I'll ever make more than $100 in any given month unless someone agrees to pay the $99 charge I have on my The Article Writer blog.
On the other hand, I pulled in $43 last month from Text Link Ads. Not bad, eh?
Perhaps with PPP Direct there is a better chance for making more.
